433. Every public notice given for county purposes is published in all the local municipalities to whose inhabitants it is addressed. It is posted and read in the same localities and in the same manner as public notices given for local purposes in such municipalities.
The officers of the county corporation giving such notice may, by letter, order the secretary-treasurer of each such local municipality, after having transmitted to him as many copies of such notice as are requisite, to provide that the same be posted and read as required, and that a certificate of the publication thereof be transmitted to them without delay, under penalty of a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $40.
