343. Within eight days after the close of the election of the mayor, the presiding officer must make the result thereof known to the warden or to the secretary-treasurer of the county corporation; he must, at the same time, give the name, surname, style and residence of the person elected mayor.
In the case of a local municipality situated in a territory not organized into a county municipality, the result and the information above indicated must be communicated to the Minister of Municipal Affairs.
