342. Within three days after the close of the election, the presiding officer must give to the mayor and each of the councillors elected, special notice of his election.
If he is the presiding officer at the first election of a newly erected municipality, he must, in such notice, indicate the time and place of the first sitting fixed by the Minister of Municipal Affairs according to article 143. If the latter has not fixed the time or place for such sitting, the presiding officer himself does so.
