130. Service upon a legal person is made at its head office, at its business office in Québec, or at the office of its agent in the district where the cause of action has arisen, speaking to one of its senior officers or to a person in charge of the said office.
If the legal person has no business office in Québec and no agent having his office in the district where the cause of action has arisen, service may be made upon one of its senior officers or upon any person mentioned as such in the register instituted under the Act respecting the legal publicity of sole proprietorships, partnerships and legal persons (chapter P-45), or upon the attorney designated under section 4 of that Act.
Service upon persons acting illegally as a legal person is made upon one of them, or at their principal business office.
