Disposition versions
158.0.1. In the case of an offence observed by means of a photograph or series of photographs taken by a detection system within the meaning of section 4 of the Highway Safety Code (chapter C-24.2), or of the offence under section 417.2 of the Code, service by public notice, provided for in article 22.1, may be authorized only if another method of service was unsuccessfully used first.
The prosecutor shall promptly send notice of the service to the defendant. The sending of the notice does not operate to vary any time limit fixed by this Code.
