A decision appointing a commissioner sets out the names of the persons to be examined and the manner in which they are to be sworn, the instructions needed to guide the commissioner in the execution of the commission, and the time within which the commissioner’s report must be filed; it may also determine an amount to cover the commissioner’s expenses and disbursements and direct that it be filed with the court office by the party that applied for the commission.
The party that applied for the commission, or if that party fails to act, the party that joined in obtaining it, is required to see that it is delivered and executed promptly.
