482. Where a person is guilty of an infraction against section 32, 87 or 89, the peace officer may issue a notice to him enjoining him to furnish proof within forty-eight hours that he was the holder of the required documents at the time he was stopped. On his failure to furnish the proof to a peace officer within that time, the notice becomes an infraction ticket under the appropriate section.
