468.0.1. The council of any city or town corporation, even if it is not contemplated in section 1, may enter into an agreement pursuant to this subdivision with the council of a band within the meaning of the Act respecting Indians (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1970, chapter I-6) or the Cree-Naskapi (of Québec) Act (Statutes of Canada, 1984, chapter 18). For those purposes, the council of the band is deemed to be a municipal corporation.
