389. The returning officer shall, if so requested in writing, appoint for each polling station, two agents to represent therein those who wish for an affirmative answer to the question submitted, and two agents to represent therein those who wish for a negative answer.
The appointment of agents shall be in writing and shall state the surname, Christian names, occupation and residence of the agent and the polling station at which he is to act, and shall be signed by the returning officer.
