468.46. The payment of the contribution of each corporation may be made in one or several instalments in such a manner and at such time as may be fixed by by-law of the management board approved by all the corporations whose territory is subject to its jurisdiction. If there is no by-law, the demand for payment is made at the beginning of every three-month period and the amount due is exigible within thirty days of the mailing of the demand by registered or certified mail. At the expiry of that time it bears interest at the rate determined under section 50 of the Act respecting municipal debts and loans (chapter D-7).
