468.26. The members of the board of directors receive no salary but may be reimbursed for expenses actually incurred by them for the management board provided these expenses had been authorized previously by the board of directors. The payment of a reimbursement is approved by the board of directors on presentation of a statement accompanied with vouchers.
The board of directors may, by by-law, establish a tariff applicable to expenses occasioned by an act or a category of acts performed in Québec, the purpose of which is not travel outside Québec. The payment of the amount provided for in the tariff for an expense incurred by a member of the board of directors on behalf of the management board is approved by the board of directors on presentation of a statement with the vouchers prescribed by by-law.
The board of directors may provide sufficient appropriations in the budget of the management board for the reimbursement of a category of expenses which the members of the board of directors may incur on behalf of the management board during the fiscal period, whether such expenses are actually incurred or provided for in the tariff. The board of directors is not required to give prior authorization for an expense included in such a category, if it does not exceed the balance of the appropriations, after subtracting the sums already used or set aside to reimburse previous expenses.
