148.2. Where this act or any other general law or special act mentions that a right other than the right to vote at the election of the mayor and councillors is conferred on tenants entered on the electoral list, it is deemed to refer to tenants entered on the schedule to the electoral list.
Where a general law or special Act confers a right mentioned in the first paragraph on electors, the word “electors” includes tenants referred to in the first paragraph and owners entered on the assessment roll who, in the case of natural persons, are of full age and are Canadian citizens.
