34. Every registrar shall, unless and until it is otherwise ordered by the Government, under section 37, be allowed for the filing, entry and registration of every memorial to be registered, $0.50, in case the words therein do not exceed 400 words, but if such memorial exceed 400 words, then at the rate of $0.10 for every 100 words contained in such memorial, over and above the first 400, and the like fees for the like number of words contained in every deed, conveyance, will or document registered at full length, and in every certificate or copy or other writing required to be made by the registrar, and for every search in the said office, if the names of the parties to the deed or instrument to be searched for be given, $0.20, and when the names are not given, $0.40.
