2. In this act, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the following meaning:(a) “scholarship” : the pecuniary assistance granted under this act for the period of one school year;
(b) “student” : a bachelor of arts or bachelor of pedagogy who has not had three years’ experience in teaching and wishes to pursue university studies in one of the subjects mentioned in paragraph c of section 5;
(c) “professor” : a bachelor of arts or bachelor of pedagogy who has had three years’ experience in teaching and wishes to pursue such studies;
(d) “teaching institution” : a secondary school governed by the Education Act (chapter I-14), an independent secondary school or classical college recognized by the Minister of Education;
(e) “universitarian institution” : a university or an institution affiliated with, incorporated in or annexed to it and providing education leading to the degrees of master, licentiate and doctor;
(f) “Minister” : the Minister of Education.
