199. Whoever directly and seriously endangers public safety, whether by act or omission, is liable to a fine of between $1,648 and $2,840 in the case of an individual or between $7,099 and $28,395 in the case of a legal person.
On a subsequent conviction, the offender is punishable with a fine of between $3,296 and $5,679 where he is an individual or between $14,197 and $70,987 in the case of a legal person.
