196. Subject to sections 196.1 and 196.1.1, any offence under section 194 is punishable with a fine of $1,347 to $6,731 where the offender is an individual and $4,036 to $20,191 in the case of a legal person.
On a second conviction, the offender is liable to a fine of $2,692 to $8,076, in the case of an individual, and $8,076 to $40,377 in the case of a legal person.
On any additional subsequent conviction, the offender is punishable with a fine of $8,076 to $24,226 where he is an individual or $24,226 to $121,133 in the case of a legal person.

196. Subject to sections 196.1 and 196.1.1, any offence under section 194 is punishable with a fine of $1,286 to $6,427 where the offender is an individual and $3,854 to $19,279 in the case of a legal person.
