12. A record ceases to be the subject of a protection measure on revocation of the measure.
If the measure is an explanatory statement, the record also ceases to be the subject of such a measure on the first of the following occurrences:(1) the time at which the parties agree to end the disagreement;
(2) the time at which the Commission d’accès à l’information refuses or ceases to examine the disagreement under section 52 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (chapter P-39.1); or (3) the time at which a decision that has become final puts an end to the disagreement.
