25. (1) Posters and signboards as well as luminous signs are prohibited along autoroutes and connecting highways within a distance determined by order of the Government published in the Gazette officielle du Québec, which may vary from one autoroute to another or from one part of an autoroute to another.
(2) The occupant of a building where he carries on a profession or occupation may, within the prescribed distance, erect thereon under a permit granted by the Authority a poster or luminous sign bearing his name only.
(3) The dimensions and particulars of such poster or luminous sign and the place where it may be placed shall be determined in the permit.
(4) The Authority may grant a permit to more than one occupant of the same building.
(5) Any authorized representative of the Authority may at any time enter upon private property to examine the posters, signboards or luminous signs located there.
(6) Whosoever contravenes subsection 1 shall be guilty of an offence and liable to the penalties enacted in sections 9, 10 and 11 of the Signboards and Posters Act (chapter P-5). Proceedings under this subsection shall be taken in accordance with the Summary Convictions Act (chapter P-15) and Part II of such act shall apply thereto.
