104. The security that an applicant for an itinerant merchant’s permit must furnish is, until 30 April 2020, $50,000 and, thereafter, $100,000.
Despite the first paragraph, if the contracts entered into by the applicant are always lower than $500, the security that the applicant must furnish is $25,000.
The duties that must be paid by the applicant are fixed according to the following classes:
(a) if the applicant has less than 50 representatives (Class 1), the duties are fixed as follows:

104. The security that the applicant for an itinerant merchant’s permit must furnish and the duties that he must pay are fixed according to the following scale and classes:
(a) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be less than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $164 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $164 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $247 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $412 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $985 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,971 (Class 6);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $3,776 (Class 7);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $7,393 (Class 8);
(b) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be equal to or greater than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $247 (Class 9);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $12,500 and the duties are $325 (Class 10);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $412 (Class 11);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $823 (Class 12);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $1,971 (Class 13);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $3,776 (Class 14);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $300,000 and the duties are $5,795 (Class 15);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $500,000 and the duties are $11,170 (Class 16).
The duties that must be paid by the applicant are fixed according to the following classes:

(a) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be less than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $164 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $164 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $247 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $412 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $985 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,971 (Class 6);

(a) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be less than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $161 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $161 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $244 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $406 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $971 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,944 (Class 6);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $3,723 (Class 7);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $7,291 (Class 8);
(b) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be equal to or greater than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $244 (Class 9);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $12,500 and the duties are $320 (Class 10);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $406 (Class 11);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $811 (Class 12);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $1,944 (Class 13);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $3,723 (Class 14);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $300,000 and the duties are $5,715 (Class 15);

104. The security that the applicant for an itinerant merchant’s permit must furnish and the duties that he must pay are fixed according to the following scale and classes:
(a) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be less than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $160 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $160 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $241 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $402 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $961 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,923 (Class 6);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $3,683 (Class 7);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $7,212 (Class 8);

iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $802 (Class 12);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $1,923 (Class 13);

i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $156 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $156 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $236 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $394 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $942 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,885 (Class 6);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $3,611 (Class 7);

104. The security that the applicant for an itinerant merchant’s permit must furnish and the duties that he must pay are fixed according to the following scale and classes:
(a) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be less than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $155 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $155 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $234 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $390 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $934 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,868 (Class 6);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $3,579 (Class 7);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $7,007 (Class 8);
(b) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be equal to or greater than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $234 (Class 9);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $12,500 and the duties are $308 (Class 10);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $390 (Class 11);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $780 (Class 12);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $1,868 (Class 13);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $3,579 (Class 14);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $300,000 and the duties are $5,493 (Class 15);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $500,000 and the duties are $10,587 (Class 16).
104. The security that the applicant for an itinerant merchant’s permit must furnish and the duties that he must pay are fixed according to the following scale and classes:
(a) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be less than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $1,000 and the duties are $153 (Class 1);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $2,500 and the duties are $153 (Class 2);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $231 (Class 3);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $10,000 and the duties are $385 (Class 4);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $920 (Class 5);
vi. if he has 100 or more representatives but fewer than 500, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $1,841 (Class 6);
vii. if he has 500 or more representatives but fewer than 1,000, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $3,526 (Class 7);
viii. if he has 1,000 or more representatives, the security is $200,000 and the duties are $6,904 (Class 8);
(b) where the consideration for the applicant’s contracts must be equal to or greater than $100 in most cases and while the permit applied for is valid:
i. if the applicant is acting alone, the security is $5,000 and the duties are $231 (Class 9);
ii. if he has fewer than 5 representatives, the security is $12,500 and the duties are $303 (Class 10);
iii. if he has 5 or more representatives but fewer than 10, the security is $25,000 and the duties are $385 (Class 11);
iv. if he has 10 or more representatives but fewer than 50, the security is $50,000 and the duties are $768 (Class 12);
v. if he has 50 or more representatives but fewer than 100, the security is $100,000 and the duties are $1,841 (Class 13);
