P-13.1, r. 2.01 - By-law respecting the internal discipline of members of the Sûreté du Québec
Section 1
Disposition versions
1. This By-law applies to police officers who are members of the Sûreté du Québec. It determines the duties and standards of conduct to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the services provided and respect for the authorities over them. It is also intended to promote the maintenance of the discipline and ethics required to ensure organizational integrity.
In addition, this By-law determines the types of behaviour that constitute breaches of discipline, establishes a disciplinary procedure, determines the powers of the authorities with regard to discipline and establishes penalties.
