6. A pharmacist must, before substituting another medication for the medication prescribed, ensure that the pharmacist cannot obtain the medication from 2 pharmacies in the pharmacist’s region and from 2 wholesalers accredited by the Minister of Health and Social Services under section 62 of the Act respecting prescription drug insurance (chapter A-29.01).
