42. The deposit shall be furnished
(1)  by transfer, certified cheque or by postal or bank money order payable to the Minister of Finance;
(2)  (paragraph revoked);
(3)  in cash.
The surety shall waive the benefit of discussion.

42. The deposit shall be furnished
(1)  by certified cheque or by postal or bank money order payable to the Minister of Finance;
(2)  by a bearer bond payable at sight, issued or guaranteed by the Government of Canada or of a Canadian province, whose market value is at least equal to the deposit required; or
(3)  in cash.
The surety shall waive the benefit of discussion.
