Disposition versions
60. In an underground travelway inclined at 50º or more from the horizontal, rest landings covering the compartment served by ladders shall be installed at vertical distances not exceeding 7 m (23 ft), except for the openings allowing the passage of persons, which shall be 1 m2 (10.8 ft2) or less in area and, for every landing built on or after 10 July 1997, at least 70 cm (27.6 in) in width.
