Section 14 Disposition versions

2019-08-08

14. Every person who contravenes section 2.8, the third paragraph of section 8 or the second paragraph of section 9 commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.

14. Every person who contravenes the third paragraph of section 8 or the second paragraph of section 9 commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.

2012-09-01

14. Every person carrying on an industrial or commercial activity who contravenes the provisions of sections 4 to 9, 11 and 13 commits an offence and is liable

(1)  for a natural person, to a fine of $1,000, to $20,000; and

(2)  for a legal person, to a fine of $2,000 to $40,000.

Every person who contravenes the provisions of section 3 commits an offence and is also liable to the fines prescribed above.

For a second or subsequent offence, the fines are doubled.
