24. Every person who contravenes section 18 commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.

24. Every person who contravenes section 5.2, 8, 9 to 9.4, 16, 17, 20, 21 or 23 commits an offence and is liable
(1)  to a fine of $2,000 to $20,000 for a first offence and $4,000 to $40,000 for a subsequent offence in the case of a natural person; or
(2)  to a fine of $6,000 to $120,000 for a first offence and $12,000 to $240,000 for a subsequent offence in the case of a legal person.
