Every permit issued pursuant to the Act respecting the sale and distribution of beer and soft drinks in non-returnable containers (chapter V-5.001) that is in force on the date on which that Act is repealed ceases to have effect on the same date. Every agreement entered into under the Beer and Soft Drinks Distributors’ Permits Regulation (chapter V-5.001, r. 1) that is in effect on the date on which that Act is repealed ceases to have effect on the same date. The same applies to the agreement dated 17 May 1985 entered into by the Fonds québécois de récupération, the Association des détaillants en alimentation du Québec, the Association des épiciers en gros du Québec, the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail, the Canadian Grocery Distributors’ Institute, Ferme Carnaval inc., Les épiciers unis/Métro-Richelieu inc., Groupe Servi, represented by Aliments Servi inc., Hudon et Deaudelin ltée, Provigo inc., Steinberg inc. and the special retailers’ committee set up by the Association des détaillants en alimentation, in collaboration with the retail chains, and to any written agreement that replaces it which, if still in effect on the date of repeal of the Act referred to in the first paragraph, ends on that date.
