2. For the purposes of sections 3 to 8, birds means all domestic birds and all birds kept in captivity which are intended for human consumption or whose products are intended for human consumption.

2. For the purposes of sections 3 to 8, “birds” means all birds reared or kept in captivity for the production of meat, eggs for consumption or other commercial products, for restocking supplies of game or for breeding those categories of birds, and includes show fowl.
