P-42, r. 10.2 - Regulation respecting the traceability of certain animals

1. This Regulation applies to bovines of the “Bos taurus” and “Bos indicus” species and their hybrids, to cervids of the “Cervidae” family and to ovines of the “Ovis” genus, kept or raised in Québec.
Its purpose is to ensure the traceability of those animals by establishing a traceability system.

1. This Regulation governs the identification of bovines, namely the species “Bos taurus” and “Bos indicus” and their hybrids, the identification of cervids, namely the Cervidae family, and the identification of ovines, namely the genus Ovis, kept or raised in Québec.
To ensure the traceability of those animals, an identification system is established.
