22. An authorized deposit institution or a bank seeking to obtain a guarantee policy referred to in section 34 of the Act must file an application with the Authority.

22. A registered institution or a bank seeking to obtain a guarantee policy referred to in section 34 of the Act must file an application by completing the form prescribed by the Authority.
Such guarantee policy must be drafted in the form prescribed by the Authority and must be issued by the Authority. The guarantee policy is for a duration of 1 year as of the date of issue and is renewed automatically for the same duration until such time as it is suspended, cancelled or rescinded.
