TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
ASSINICA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
A territory situated in the townships of Gloria, Bellerive, Voyer, Crépeau, Lucière, Turgis, Livillier, La Rochette, Chérisy, Beaulieu, Plamondon, La Vallière and in an unorganized territory having an area of eight thousand eight hundred and eighty-five square kilometres (8,885 km2), the territory of which is described as follows:
Being the territory between 76º longitude and the western limit of Mistassini Sanctuary on the one hand and parallels of latitude 50º15′ and 51º on the other.
This territory does not include lands in Categories IA, IB, IB Special and II under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement.
