129. As soon as it is concluded that an animal cannot be rehabilitated, its keeper must dispose of it according to one of the following methods:(1) the animal may be given to a person designated by a wildlife protection officer or by a public servant in the exercise of duties, so that the animal is kept in captivity for purposes other than rehabilitation;
(2) the animal may be euthanized or killed in accordance with sections 132 and 133.
For the purposes of this section, an animal cannot be rehabilitated if(1) it will keep physical scars that would compromise its survival in the wild;
(2) it does not recognize its species or no longer fears humans, which would compromise its survival or make it dangerous for humans;
(3) it is not fit, after 18 months of rehabilitation, to survive on its own in the wild.
