1. This Code, pursuant to section 87 of the Professional Code (chapter C-26), determines the duties towards the public, the clients and the profession that a member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec must discharge.
It determines, in particular, which acts are derogatory to the dignity of the profession, the provisions to preserve the secrecy of confidential information that becomes known to a town planner in the practice of his profession, the conditions and procedures applicable to the exercice of the rights of access and correction provided for in section 60.5 and 60.6 of the Professional Code as well as the conditions, obligations and prohibitions in respect of advertising by a town planner.
