1. For the purposes of providing services consisting in the translation of texts, speech or terms from one language into another, as an intermediary between persons of different languages, the board of directors of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec determines the following categories of permits:
(1)  a Certified Translator’s permit;
(2)  a Certified Terminologist’s permit;
(3)  a Certified Interpreter’s permit.
