8. At its first meeting following receipt of a recommendation from the committee, the board of directors must decide whether to recognize or to deny the equivalence applied for and inform the candidate of its decision in writing within 15 days of its decision.
If the board of directors refuses to recognize the equivalence applied for, the board of directors must at the same time inform the candidate in writing of the programs of study or, where applicable, of the training periods or examinations that the candidate could successfully complete in order to be granted a training equivalence.
