9. Format and typeface. Except if exempted by the judge, all pleadings must be printed on one side only of a letter-format sheet measuring 21.5 x 28 cm (8 1/2 x 11 inches) using Arial 12 point typeface or, in the case of a handwritten pleading, must be legibly written.
