44. Leave to Appeal from a Judgment Rendered in the Course of a Proceeding (arts. 31 or 32 and 357 C.C.P.). A judge who grants leave to appeal from a judgment rendered in the course of a proceeding shall set the date and duration of the hearing and the number of pages of Parts I to IV of the argument, if it is to exceed 10 pages. The judge may also establish the timetable for the filing of memoranda or refer this task to the clerk (arts. 368 and 374 C.C.P.).
