Disposition versions
17. Animals must be euthanized
(1) in a place away from other animals; and
(2) by a veterinary surgeon or under the veterinary surgeon’s supervision, where the owner or custodian holds a permit issued by the Minister under the Animal Welfare and Safety Act (chapter B-3.1).
Euthanasia by inhalation is prohibited.
