Adults are sheltered as soon as a contribution may be required for the adults under section 512 of the Act respecting health services and social services (chapter S-4.2) or section 159 of the Act respecting health services and social services for Cree Native persons (chapter S-5) as beneficiaries or users sheltered in a facility maintained by an institution referred to in either of those Acts. Adults are also sheltered while held in custody for an assessment under section 672.11 of the Criminal Code (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46).
