Section 138.1
Disposition versions
138.1. For the purpose of calculating a benefit, the lump sums paid to an independent adult or a member of the family to compensate for physical or mental impairment or injury are excluded up to a total value of $323,664.
In the case of a family, each member may benefit individually from that exclusion.
