11.2. The president issues a travel counsellor certificate where the applicant(a) has passed an examination on the knowledge of the laws and regulations applying to the travel sector;
(b) has not committed, in the 5 preceding years, an offence against the Act or this Regulation;
(c) has not been found guilty, in the 5 preceding years, of fraud, forgery or fraudulent operations in contractual or commercial matters;
(d) has not made a false declaration or untrue statement of a material fact to obtain a certificate;
(e) has paid the duties provided for in this Regulation;
(f) has sent the information required under section 11.4.
The certificate is issued or renewed for a period of 1 year.
The president renews the certificate if the conditions set out in subparagraphs b to f of the first paragraph are met.
