Crown Payments Prescription Act

1. Every right of action for the recovery of sums of money paid through error in law, before or after the 3rd of April 1925, to the Gouvernement du Québec as duties or taxes, imposed by any act of the Legislature, shall be absolutely extinguished if the action has not been instituted within six months from the date of the payment.

REPEAL SCHEDULE

In accordance with section 17 of the Act respecting the consolidation of the statutes (chapter R-3), chapter 82 of the Revised Statutes, 1964, in force on 31 December 1977, is repealed effective from the coming into force of chapter P-18 of the Revised Statutes.
