Regulation respecting certain immovables under the administration of the Minister of Transport
Act respecting the Ministère des Transports
(chapter M-28, s. 12.1).
1. No one may advertise, offer for sale, sell or exchange merchandise, consumer goods or services, or carry on any business whatsoever on or near a rest area, weigh station, control point, stopping zone or parking area located alongside a public road.

2. A person stopping or staying in an area described in section 1 must park his vehicle in a space provided for that purpose.

3. No one may throw or leave litter or any object likely to affect the cleanliness of areas described in section 1.

4. A stopover or stay in an area described in section 1 must not exceed 4 hours except in the case of a driver of a heavy vehicle within the meaning of section 4 of the Highway Safety Code (chapter C-24.2), for the purpose of continuing a rest period.

5. In an area described in section 1, no one may pitch a tent or erect any camping facility intended to provide shelter.

6. Whoever contravenes any of sections 1 to 5 commits an offence.
