Regulation respecting the establishment of Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville

1. The territory described in the Schedule constitutes Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
REGISTRATION DIVISION: CHAMBLY
PARC NATIONAL DES ÎLES-DE-BOUCHERVILLE
A territory that is part of the official cadastre of the parishes of Saint-Antoine-de-Longueuil and Sainte-Famille-de-Boucherville, covering an area of 8.14 km2, and including:
I. In the cadastre of the parish of Saint-Antoine-de-Longueuil
A) Lot 348-1 and the remainder of lot 348.
II. In the cadastre of the parish of Sainte-Famille-de-Boucherville
A) Ìles Grosbois, de la Commune, aux Raisins, à Pinard, Saint-Pierre, Saint-Jean, Sainte-Marguerite, known as lots 299 to 322; lots 326, 327, 329, 330, 328-1 and the remainder of lot 328 of the said cadastre.
B) Part of the bed of St.Lawrence River that is an embankment, bounded as follows: on the eastern side, by lots 322, 326, 328 and 348; on the southern side, by block 6 of the St.Lawrence River; on the western side, by another part of the bed of St.Lawrence River.
C) Part of the channel lying between île Sainte-Marguerite and île Charron and bounded as follows: on the southweastern side, by lots 326, 330 and 348; on the southeastern side, by a straight line that is the northeasterly extension of the southeastern boundary of lot 277 to its intersection with the southeastern boundary of lot 321.
D) Chenal Petite-Rivière.
E) Chenal Grande-Rivière.
F) The channel lying between île Saint-Jean and île Saint-Pierre.
G) The channel lying between île Saint-Jean and île à Pinard.
H) The channel lying between île Saint-Pierre and île à Pinard.
I) Chenal à Pinard.
J) Chenal La Passe.
K) The channel lying between île aux Raisins and île de la Commune.
L) A part of the bed of St.Lawrence River that is a strip of uniform width equal to fifteen metres (15 m), encircling the territory described above on its western, northern and eastern sides, bounded on the southwestern side by the northern limit of block 6 of the St.Lawrence River and on the southeastern side by the extension of the southern limit of the part of the channel lying between île Charron and île Sainte-Marguerite.
M) A part of the bed of the St.Lawrence River located at the northern extremity of île Grosbois and described as follows: of irregular shape, bounded on the northern side by a straight line whose extremities are identified by the letters C and D, having the following M.T.M., coordinates: point “D”, 5,055,800 m N and 308,135 m E, and point “C”, 5,055,600 m N and 307,465 m E; on the northeastern and northwestern sides, by two other straight lines originating from the abovementioned points and limited by the tangency point with the outer edge of the 15 m strip described in paragraph L; on the southern and southeastern sides, by a part of the 15 m strip described in paragraph L.
N) A part of the bed of the St.Lawrence River that is part of the chenal du Courant and described as follows: of irregular shape, bounded on the westernside by a straight line whose extremities are identified by the letters A and B, having the following M.T.M. coordinates: point “A”, 5,050,500 m N and 304,710 m E, point “B”, 5,052,700 m N and 305,220 m E, the latter point being located on the extension of the dividing line between lots 310 and 311 of the cadastre of the parish of Sainte-Famille-de-Boucherville; bounded on the northern side by a straight line linking point “B” and the intersection of the extension of the dividing line between lots 307 and 308 and the outer edge of the 15 m strip described in paragraph L; on the eastern side, by the said strip skirting île aux Raisins, île de la Commune, île à Pinard, île Saint-Pierre, and île Saint-Jean; on the southern side, by a straight line originating at point “A” having a bearing of 148º00′ and ending at the outer edge of the 15 m strip described in paragraph L.
The abovementioned coordinates are expressed in metres and were graphically traced from the M.T.M. squaring used on the maps to the scale of 1:10,000 published by the Ministère des Ressources naturelles du Québec.
The whole as shown on a plan using a scale of 1:40,000 attached to the minute of these presents, executed by Henri Morneau, land surveyor, numbered P-8232 and the original of which is kept at the Division des données foncières et de la cartographie of the ministère de l’Environnement et de la Faune.
