DIVISION
I
GENERAL

.
The information that the podiatrist who is entered on the roll of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec (Order) may include in his advertisements to the public and the conditions under which he may advertise are set forth in this Regulation.

CONTENT OF ADVERTISEMENTS

For advertising purposes, the podiatrist may include the following particulars:
(

)
pertaining to himself:
(
a
)
his name and, where applicable, those of his partners and of the podiatrists he employs;
(
b
)
his profession;
(

)
pertaining to his services:
(
a
)
his office address, telephone number and business hours;
(
b
)
the expression «foot treatment», to identify his field of professional activity;
(
c
)
the expression «podiatric ortheses», where he provides that service;
(
d
)
the expression «podiatric clinic» or «podiatric centre», where it is accompanied by his name or the names of all or some of his partners or of the podiatrists he employs;
(
e
)
the name of his employer, where applicable;
(

)
the graphic sign of the Order.

MEANS OF ADVERTISING

The podiatrist may use spoken or written media to present to the public information of general interest about podiatrics. The podiatrist shall then identify himself and have himself identified only by his name, his profession, the municipality in which he practises and his position within the Order, where applicable.

The podiatrist may enter all or part of the information specified in section 2 on his professional card and on his stationery.
A professional card may not exceed 6 cm

The podiatrist may publish or allow to be published an advertisement containing all or part of the information specified in section 2 in newspapers, magazines, directories or other printed matter. The advertisement may not exceed 1 dm

When opening his office, entering an existing office, being entered on the roll of the Order for the first time or being appointed to a position related to the practice of his profession, the podiatrist may publish or allow to be published his photograph, not exceeding 64 cm

, and biographical data in newspapers, magazines or other printed matter.

The podiatrist may place a sign including all or part of the information specified in section 2 on one of the outside walls of the immovable in which his office is located or on the land on which the immovable stands.
Where the immovable in which his office is located is at an intersection, the podiatrist may place the sign on the outside walls or on the land facing each converging road.

The podiatrist may place, inside his office, a sign visible to the public and including all or part of the information specified in section 2.

The signs authorized under this Division may not be luminous or exceed 25 dm

The podiatrist who reproduces the graphic sign of the Order for advertising purposes, must ensure that the sign complies with the original kept by the secretary and does not exceed 25 dm
