Hôpital Louis H. Lafontaine and Centre hospitalier Robert Giffard, in Montréal and Québec City respectively, are authorized to receive and treat persons detained under the Criminal Code (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46) or any penal law, the whole in accordance with section 10.2 of the Act respecting the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (chapter M-19.2).
