Each year, as soon as possible after the new duties and fees have been determined, the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux will publish a table of them in the

When a site operator’s licence is issued for a period of less than 12 months, the duties payable for the licence are proportional to the non-expired period of the bar, brasserie or tavern permit until the anniversary date of the permit and are calculated by dividing the duties payable for the licence by the number of days in the calendar year for which the licence is requested and by multiplying the result obtained by the number of non-expired days of the bar, brasserie or tavern permit.
The duties, calculated in the prescribed manner, are reduced to the nearest dollar if they include a fraction of a dollar lower than $0.50; they are increased to the nearest dollar if they include a fraction of a dollar equal to or higher than $0.50.
