When a jury is selected, a juror who is a member thereof is entitled to an indemnity of $103 per day or part of a day of hearings, deliberations or when the juror remains confined to the premises designated by the sheriff. The indemnity is fixed at $160 as of the 57th day of jury selection.
Where there are evening hearings or deliberations, the juror is entitled to an additional indemnity of $52. The indemnity is fixed at $103 where the deliberations continue until the following day.
A juror is also entitled to an additional indemnity of $103 where one of the situations for which an indemnity is provided in the first or second paragraph falls on a non-juridical day. The indemnity is fixed at $160 as of the 57th day of jury selection.

A juror is entitled to an allowance for meals, accommodation and transportation corresponding to that granted to members of the staff appointed in accordance with the Public Service Act (chapter F-3.1.1) and provided for in the Directive sur les frais remboursables lors d’un déplacement et autres frais inhérents (C.T. 194603, 00-03-30).

A juror is entitled, on order of the judge, to an allowance for the care of children or other dependents.
That allowance is payable on a weekly basis, on the presentation of vouchers, up to:

$124
where the juror takes care of 1 person provided for in the first paragraph;
(
2
)
$164
where the juror takes care of 2 persons provided for in the first paragraph;
(
3
)
$208
where the juror takes care of 3 persons provided for in the first paragraph; or
(
4
)
$247
where the juror takes care of 4 persons or more provided for in the first paragraph.
That allowance shall be revalorized in accordance with Chapter VIII of Title II of the Automobile Insurance Act (chapter A-25). The Minister of Justice shall inform the public of the result of this revalorization, through the

or by any other means he deems appropriate.

A juror is entitled, on order of the judge, on the presentation of vouchers, to an allowance for psychological treatment, up to a maximum amount of 65 $ per hour of treatment and up to 5 hours of treatment per prescription.

A juror whose presence is required for more than a day at the court house is free to travel unless he is confined to quarters by court order.
