Regulation respecting the Québec Aquarium
CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF WILDLIFE — QUÉBEC AQUARIUM
Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife

No visitor may be admitted inside the Québec Aquarium building if he is accompanied by a dog or any other animal unless it is a seeing-eye dog accompanying its master.

No visitor to the Québec Aquarium may:
(
1
)
touch the aquatic mammals;
(
2
)
put his hand or foot into the pool of an aquatic mammal;
(
3
)
feed an aquatic mammal;
(
4
)
throw any objects into the enclosure of an aquatic mammal;
(
5
)
frighten an aquatic mammal.

Within the Québec Aquarium property limits it is not allowed to:
(
1
)
pick flowers or plants, damage bushes or trees;
(
2
)
move, deface or damage signs;
(
3
)
move or damage the benches, tables and shelters;
(
4
)
move or damage movable property or damage immovable property.
Moreover, painting, altering or removing rocks or any other natural formations are not allowed.

Inside the Québec Aquarium building no visitor may wear only a swimsuit or a lower body garment.

Smoking is not allowed in the passages and halls or in the auditorium of the Québec Aquarium.

Filming or taking pictures in the passages and halls of the Québec Aquarium is allowed only if no artificial lighting is used.

Within the Québec Aquarium property limits, it is not allowed to:
(

)
use loud speakers or any other sound producing instrument or sound amplifier;
(
2
)
hand out or post up notes, pamphlets or folders;
(
3
)
offer anything for sale.

Any visitor to the Québec Aquarium must park his vehicle in the areas provided and identified for that purpose.

Camping or lighting a fire on the Québec Aquarium property are not allowed.

Climbing trees, walls, fences or any other structure located within the Québec Aquarium property limits is not allowed.

Discarding bottles, papers or garbage, elsewhere than in the trash cans and other containers provided for that purpose is not allowed.

The sale and trade of goods within the Québec Aquarium property limits are authorized only when such activities are carried out under a franchise contract entered into under paragraph 3 of section 78 of the Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife (chapter C-61.1).

The director may temporarily prohibit access to part or all of the Québec Aquarium property:
(
1
)
when the safety of visitors may be endangered;
(
2
)
when the capacity of visitors allowed in an area is reached or may be exceeded.
