Regulation respecting the enforcement of legislative provisions by wildlife protection officers

INTERPRETATION
1. The references made in this Regulation must be read taking into account the amendments that may be made to the text of the legislative and regulatory provisions referred to.

DIVISION II
EMISSION OF A CONTAMINANT
2. For the purposes of subparagraph 3 of section 5 of the Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife (chapter C-61.1), wildlife protection officers and their immediate superior shall see to the enforcement of the following provisions of the Environment Quality Act (chapter Q-2) and its regulations:
(1)  section 22 of the Act as regards the requirement to hold an authorization;
(2)  section 194 of the Clean Air Regulation (chapter Q-2, r. 4.1) that forbids burning waste in the open air;
(3)  (paragraph revoked).

DIVISION III
WASTE MANAGEMENT
3. For the purposes of subparagraph 3 of section 5 of the Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife (chapter C-61.1), wildlife protection officers and their immediate superior shall see to the enforcement of the following provisions of the Environment Quality Act (chapter Q-2) and its regulations:
(1)  section 66 of that Act that forbids the deposit of residual materials in a place other than those covered by that section;
(2)  sections 111 to 120 of the Regulation respecting the landfilling and incineration of residual materials (chapter Q-2, r. 19), that govern remote landfills, as regards only landfills in a controlled territory or an outfitting operation within the meaning of the Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife, or in the territory of a national park established under the Parks Act (chapter P-9).
