To ensure adequate regional representation on the board of directors of the Order, the territory of Québec is divided into 11 regions:
(
1
)
the Bas-Saint-Laurent region (01);
(
2
)
the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region (02);
(
3
)
the Québec (03) and Chaudière-Appalaches (12) regions, combined for the purposes of this Regulation into a single region designated as the Québec-Métropolitain region;
(
4
)
the Mauricie–Centre-du-Québec region (04 and 17);
(
5
)
the Estrie region (05);
(
6
)
the Montréal region (06);
(
7
)
the Outaouais region (07);
(
8
)
the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region (08);
(
9
)
the Côte-Nord (09), Nord du Québec (10) and Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine (11) regions, combined for the purposes of this Regulation into a single region designated as the Nord-Est du Québec region;
(
10
)
the Laval (13), Lanaudière (14) and Laurentides (15) regions, combined for the purposes of this Regulation into a single region designated as the Rive-Nord region;
(
11
)
the Montérégie region (16).
The territory of the regions listed in the subparagraphs of the preceding paragraph corresponds to the territory of the regions listed in Décret concernant la révision des limites des régions administratives du Québec (chapter D-11, r. 1).

Regional representation on the board of directors of the professional order shall be as follows:
1 director elected for the Bas-Saint-Laurent region (01);
1 director elected for the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region (02);
3 directors elected for the Québec-Métropolitain region (03, 12);
1 director elected for the Mauricie–Centre-du-Québec region (04 and 17);
1 director elected for the Estrie region (05);
5 directors elected for the Montréal region (06);
1 director elected for the Outaouais region (07);
1 director elected for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region (08);
1 director elected for the Nord-Est du Québec region (09, 10, 11);
3 directors elected for the Rive-Nord region (13, 14 and 15);
2 directors elected for the Montérégie region (16).

This Regulation replaces the Regulation dividing Québec into regions for the purposes of elections to the Bureau of the Corporation professionnelle des technologues en sciences appliquées du Québec (R.R.Q., 1981, c. C-26, r. 178).
